Throughout the last week, we had the opportunity to host a fantastic study group of 10 academics and the Dean of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management from the Romanian American University in Bucharest!
As part of the Erasmus Plus Training Mobilities (STT) for University Staff, they embarked on an incredible journey to train with hospitality experts and explore the wonders of Greek hospitality and immerse themselves in the rich Greek culture.
Over the past 7 days, our esteemed visitors had the privilege to experience the beauty of Greece firsthand, enjoying its breathtaking landscapes, delicious cuisine, and warm-hearted people. They were truly captivated by the enchanting atmosphere and unique traditions that Greece has to offer. From exploring historic landmarks, like the Knossos Palace, to indulging in traditional Greek delicacies, their adventure has been nothing short of extraordinary!
Our esteemed faculty members also had the incredible opportunity to observe the operations of luxurious hotel chains, gaining valuable insights into the world of hospitality management. They participated in specialized courses and workshops, expanding their knowledge and learning from industry experts. This experience will undoubtedly enrich their teaching methods and inspire their students back home to seek a hospitality job, perhaps in Greece, that will help them kickstart their hospitality career!
